Who we are

This website is operated by Hosho Private Limited (UEN 202511998N), 60 Paya Lebar Road, #07-54 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. We are the controller of the data described here. For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete your data, write to otto@hoshoai.com— our data protection contact for the purposes of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.

This statement covers hoshoai.com only. The prompt review service at prompts.hoshoai.com has its own privacy statement, because it handles different data for different reasons.

What we collect

Almost nothing. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. Two things reach us:

• Your email address, if you request access.The form on our request access page sends us the address you type and the time you sent it. Nothing else — no name, no company, no tracking identifier attached to it.
• Analytics about your visit, if you agree to it. Which pages you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and device you used. This only happens if you accept analytics cookies in the banner.

What we do with it

We use your email address to reply to you about access to Hosho, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a marketing list, sell it, or share it beyond the services named below. When you write to us, the request lands in a private channel in our own Slack workspace, which is where we read it.

We use analytics to understand which pages people find useful, so we can write better ones. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to advertise to you anywhere.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. The same rules cover related techniques, such as reading and writing to your browser’s local storage, so we mean those too.

Before you choose, we set exactly one cookie:

• cookieyes-consent— records what you chose in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page. Set by CookieYes, our consent management provider. About a year. This one is necessary for the banner to work, so it does not need your permission.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics adds two more:

• _ga and _ga_B0VNV6DN5P— tell repeat visits apart and hold the state of your current visit. Set by Google LLC, who declare a two-year lifetime; most browsers shorten this to around thirteen months.

If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device beyond the consent record above. We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies on this website, whatever you choose.

One more, which is normally dormant: if we ever put this site behind a password, signing in sets a hosho_gate cookie for thirty days so you are not asked on every page. It holds no personal data and is necessary for that feature.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and takes effect immediately. Clearing your browser’s cookies for this site also resets it.

Who else sees your data

We keep this list short deliberately, and it is complete:

• Vercel— hosts this website, so it handles every request you make to it, including your IP address.
• CookieYes— provides the cookie banner and records your consent choice.
• Google LLC— provides Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, if you accept analytics. Google acts as an independent controller of the analytics data it receives.
• Slack— where a request-access email arrives for us to read.
• Google Drive— hosts the customer video on our AppSmith story. It loads only if you press play, and Google may set its own cookies when you do.

These services run in the United States and elsewhere, so your data may be transferred outside your country. Where that involves personal data of people in the UK or the EEA, we rely on the transfer mechanisms those providers put in place, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep a request-access email for as long as we are still talking to you about access, and delete it when that conversation is clearly over. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months and then deleted automatically. Cookies expire on the schedule above.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to what we are doing with it. Email otto@hoshoai.comand we will answer within a month. If you are in the UK or the EEA and you think we have got this wrong, you can complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This website is for business use by people aged 18 or over.

Changes

If this statement changes we will update the date at the top. If the change matters — a new cookie, a new recipient — we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
